‘Murray Mallee Aged Care Group Inc. does not provide voluntary assisted dying services at Warner Close – our retirement community. We know some of our tenants may wish to explore this option and we respect their right to choose. If tenants in our care wish to access voluntary assisted dying, we will support them to do so. For tenants who wish to access voluntary assisted dying, Warner Close will allow doctors, nurses, and others who can assist with voluntary assisted dying to visit the tenant. When accessing voluntary assisted dying there may be times when a tenant needs to be transferred to meet with a doctor or nurse who is unable to attend the facility, we will help facilitate this where possible. You will be able to come back after your appointment. Tenants of Warner Close will not be required to move to a different facility if they wish to access voluntary assisted dying.
